SAVE LIFE!
Train-the-Trainers Programme Receives
Outstanding Feedback Across Europe

The SAVE LIFE! Train-the-Trainers Programme has successfully equipped future trainers across Austria, Hungary, Italy, and Romania with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver high-quality safety education to young people. An evaluation involving 64 participants demonstrated exceptionally high levels of satisfaction, with average ratings exceeding 4.5 out of 5 across all key areas of the programme.

Participants praised the quality of the training, the expertise of the trainers, and the practical learning approach used throughout the programme. Hands-on activities, first-aid demonstrations, simulations, and scenario-based exercises were consistently identified as the most valuable elements, helping participants gain confidence in their ability to respond to emergencies and teach others.

One of the programme’s most important achievements was its success in preparing participants to become future trainers. Nearly all participants reported feeling ready to deliver the training independently, with Hungary and Romania achieving 100% readiness among respondents.

The results confirm that the SAVE LIFE! training methodology is effective, practical, and transferable across different countries and contexts. By building a network of capable trainers, the project is creating a lasting impact and ensuring that life-saving knowledge and safety awareness continue to reach young people and communities across Europe.

Youth Training Programme Makes a Lasting Impact Across Europe

The SaveLife! Train the Youth programme has successfully empowered young people across Austria, Hungary, Italy, and Romania with essential safety awareness, emergency preparedness, and first-aid skills. According to the overall evaluation, 91 young participants took part in the training activities and reported exceptionally high levels of satisfaction with both the content and delivery of the programme.

Participants consistently praised the practical nature of the training, highlighting first-aid demonstrations, emergency response scenarios, road accident management, and interactive learning activities as the most valuable aspects of the programme. The opportunity to learn how to react effectively in real-life emergencies helped increase participants’ confidence and preparedness while maintaining high levels of engagement throughout the sessions.

Across all four countries, young people rated the trainers highly for their professionalism, expertise, and ability to communicate complex safety topics in a clear and accessible way. Many participants described the training as useful, interesting, and relevant to everyday life, while others expressed a desire to see similar programmes delivered to even more young people and schools.
